System description:

The Navigation Integration Kit NIK-VWZ01 enables the retrofitting of a navigation system in VW & Skoda (2014) vehicles that have the original 5.8"/6.5"/8" composition media touch-screen radio or the Bolero music system.
The integration of the NIK components is done by simply connecting them between the original Monitor and Radio Unit.
By the Plug & Play cable kit the integration can be done without the need of changing the original Radio or Monitor - all original components remain without modification.
The Monitor can be switched to Navigation mode by long pressing the MEDIA-Button on the monitor and the Navigation System can be controlled by the original Touch-Screen of the car.
The Highlight of this solution is the seamless integration into the car's system with voice output by the car's speakers and the SmartSwitch function for autom. switching between Radio & Navigation Picture.
The NIK-System also has many expandable options that include the safety of a rear-view camera, hands free Bluetooth, DVB-T, DVD, etc.

• Restriction: In vehicles with the Dynaudio sound system, sound output via the vehicle speakers is not possible - a separate speaker must be used.
